The many shops, restaurants and bars of Eymet are on the doorstep. Other lovely French villages such as Issigeac, Monpazier, etc are a short drive away. Each of the surrounding villages take turns each night to host a repas (meal with party atmosphere) during the summer months of July and August. There is a weekly market in Eymet every Thursday and during the summer there is a night market including food stalls every Tuesday.

Close by there is the possibility of paddle boarding and kayaking on the nearby Lac de l'Escourou. Further afield is canoeing on the River Dordogne, hot air ballooning, family games at Chateau Bridoire and a kids water park. The Château des Vigiers 27 hole golf resort is a 15 minute drive away. Cycling is popular in the area and bicycles (including electric) can be rented in Eymet.
