The Château
Château de la Gravette is a unique 8 bedroom château a short stroll from the French bastide village of Eymet. Hidden away in 12 acres of private and beautiful grounds yet a short walk from Eymet with its many shops, restaurants and bars. From the driveway gates to the bastide centre is only 2oo metres, a 3 minute walk. The location offers the best of both worlds - the feeling of being in the countryside while only a short walk to the centre of Eymet.
Inside the Château
Accommodation for up to 15 people, offering family sitting room, dining room, contemporary kitchen, and eight double bedrooms all tastefully decorated and furnished.
There are six bedrooms on the first floor, one on the ground floor and one on the lower ground floor. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite, plus a large family bathroom and a separate shower room
Château grounds and pool
The château is accessed through a mature tree lined avenue. The château is surrounded on all sides by attractive gardens. To the front of the château are lawned areas and mature trees whilst the back of the Château offers a large 12m x 6m heated swimming pool and a summer kitchen/bar area.
Chai (Barn)
The former chai (wine storage barn) has been renovated to provide a large (20m x 7m) indoor area that can be used as a bar / games room / party room. The chai is a great place to use on days when it may get very hot outside or if it should rain.
